Wynhurst

Wynhurst, also known as Wyndhurst and Preston Place, is a historic house in Charlottesville, Virginia, built in 1857. This two-story, three-bay frame dwelling showcases Greek Revival architectural details, featuring a low pitched hipped roof and a one-story enclosed sun parlor. The house has two additions linked by a one-story hyphen. Recognized for its historical significance, Wynhurst was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is situated within the Rugby Road-University Corner Historic District, making it an intriguing site for both tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
