Pumpelly Studio

The Pumpelly Studio, located in Dublin, New Hampshire, is a historic house and the last remaining structure from the summer estate of geologist Raphael Pumpelly. Built in 1912, this unique example of Mediterranean Romanesque architecture features a single-story design with a stucco finish and a tiled hip roof. It was constructed to preserve Pumpelly's valuable papers after a fire destroyed the main house in 1922. The studio has hosted notable visitors, including dancer Martha Graham, and remains a significant part of Dublin's history as a former summer resort and artists' colony. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
