Hopelands

Hopelands is a historic country estate located in Warwick, Rhode Island, now serving as the campus for the Rocky Hill School, a private college preparatory institution. The estate features a Colonial Revival mansion, originally part of a wood-frame structure built in 1686. In 1793, Thomas P. Ives and Hope (Brown) Ives expanded the estate with a Federal-style house, which was later renovated in 1885 by Moses Goddard. The property spans 75 acres and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
