Edgeton

Edgeton is a historic house located in Hamilton, Ohio, built in the 1860s by prominent banker Jacob Shaffer. This two-story brick residence, completed in 1865, features distinctive architectural elements such as a central porch and corbelling at the roof's edge. The house was later owned by Harrison Leib, a sugar cane broker, who named it after his dairy operation. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, Edgeton was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 due to its architectural significance and its role as a key landmark in the neighborhood.
