Fisk Medical Arts Building

The Fisk Medical Arts Building, a historic tower block located at 724 South Polk Street in Amarillo, Texas, stands 152 feet tall with 12 stories and showcases Gothic Revival architecture. Constructed in 1927-1928 by Guy Anton Carlander, it was named after Charles A. Fisk, a prominent local banker. Originally housing the Amarillo Bank and Trust Company, the building later served as a medical office space before being renovated in 2011 at a cost of $12.7 million. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 and features a historical plaque since 2013, making it a noteworthy site for both tourists and researchers interested in Texas history and architecture.
