109 Prince Street

109 Prince Street is a historic cast-iron building located at the corner of Greene Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Built between 1882 and 1883 and designed by Jarvis Morgan Slade in the French Renaissance style, it features a striking cast-iron facade crafted by Cheney & Hewlett. Originally a store, this architectural gem is celebrated as one of the finest examples of 19th-century cast iron architecture. After a complete restoration in 1993 by Kapell & Kostow, it received the Landmark Certificate of Merit from the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1994, highlighting its significance within the SoHo - Cast Iron Historic District.
