Smith Tower

Completed in 1914, Smith Tower is an early Pacific Northwest skyscraper built for L.C. Smith and clad in white terra cotta in a neoclassical style. At the time of its completion it was one of the tallest buildings in the region and became a prominent Seattle landmark. The building retains a historic top-floor observatory and the landmarked 'Chinese Room' interior, which reflect its original amenities.
