Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute

The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute, located on the IUPUI campus, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to ophthalmology research and patient care. Officially opened in 2011, the institute features a 70,000-square-foot building that includes an outpatient clinic, classrooms, and research centers. Funded by a generous $30 million donation from the Glick Family Foundation, it is notable for being the first building on the Indianapolis campus to achieve LEED Gold certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. The institute not only serves patients with vision issues but also consolidates resources for the Indiana University School of Medicine, making it a hub for medical education and innovation in eye care.
