Casa de Fierro

Casa de Fierro, or the Iron House, is a remarkable cultural heritage site located in Iquitos, Peru. Built during the rubber boom in the late 19th century, this prefabricated iron residence is renowned for its unique architecture, featuring walls and ceilings made of iron sheets. Often mistakenly attributed to Gustave Eiffel, it was actually constructed in Belgium and transported to Iquitos in pieces.
