Baker Memorial Hall

Baker Memorial Hall, located at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, is a historic educational building constructed between 1927 and 1938. Named after Charles Fuller Baker, a prominent dean, it played a significant role during World War II as an internment camp for American and allied POWs. The building survived the war's destruction and later served as a gymnasium and venue for various university events, including sports and cultural activities. Currently, there are plans to convert it into a museum, enhancing its historical significance. Declared a historic site in 2005, Baker Hall offers a glimpse into the rich history of the university and the Philippines.
