Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) in the Naval Armory

MOHAI relocated to a rehabilitated early-20th-century Naval Reserve Armory building at Lake Union Park in 2012. The armory was built in 1919 and the renovation preserved its heavy-timber and brick industrial character while adaptively reusing the structure for museum galleries and public spaces. The site documents Seattle's maritime and industrial history and anchors the architectural history of the South Lake Union waterfront.
