Mitchell-Shealy House

The Mitchell-Shealy House, also known as the Berley Shealy House, is a historic residence located in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. Built around 1855, this two-story weatherboard home showcases a blend of Greek Revival and Italianate architectural styles. Notable features include a rectangular central block, a one-story centered rear ell, and a striking central projecting double portico beneath a front gable. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in 19th-century architecture.
