Fort Worth Water Gardens waterfalls

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, completed in 1974 and designed by architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee, contains three distinct water features known as the Active Pool, Aerating Pool, and Quiet Pool. The Active Pool and terraced features create cascading waterfalls and flowing water that are integral to the park's dramatic urban design. The Water Gardens are a prominent downtown public space adjacent to the Fort Worth Convention Center and are frequently photographed for their engineered waterfalls and reflecting pools.
