Marshall Orme Wilson House

The Marshall Orme Wilson House, located at 3 East 64th Street in Manhattan's Upper East Side, is a historic mansion completed in 1903, designed by the architectural firm Warren and Wetmore. Originally built for Marshall Orme Wilson and his wife Carrie Astor Wilson, the house is notable for its Beaux-Arts architecture featuring Indiana Limestone and a distinctive mansard roof. After Carrie's death in 1948, the house was acquired by the Government of India and now serves as the Consulate General of India.
