Fairfield County Infirmary

The Fairfield County Infirmary, located in Lancaster, Ohio, is a historic site dating back to 1828, with its current structure built in 1840. Known for its haunting reputation, it attracts paranormal investigators and tourists alike. The site includes a historic cemetery with burials ceasing in 1929. After being abandoned in 1985 and serving various purposes, including county offices, it has been vacant since 2013. The infirmary gained further attention with a 2020 documentary and features buses from American Horror Story: Freak Show on its grounds.
