Benton, also known as Spring Hill, is a historic house located near Middleburg in Loudoun County, Virginia. Built around 1831 by brickmaker William Benton, the Federal style home features a distinctive two-story structure with five bays and a center hall. Notable for its original interior woodwork, the house has undergone several alterations over the years, including changes to its windows and entrance. The property includes several outbuildings, such as a laundry house and a large brick barn. After changing ownership multiple times, Benton was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
