Willcox's, a historic inn located in Aiken, South Carolina, was a prominent destination during the Aiken Winter Colony era from 1898 to 1957. Reflecting Second Empire and Colonial Revival architectural styles, the inn is the last remaining resort from Aiken's once-famous hospitality scene. Originally opened by the Willcox family, it hosted notable guests including diplomats, royalty, and celebrities. After closing in the 1950s, it underwent renovations and reopened in 2002, now recognized as one of South Carolina's most luxurious small hotels, offering a range of amenities including a restaurant, spa, and various vacation packages.
