Sharples Homestead

The Sharples Homestead, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, is a historic house built between 1799 and 1805 in the Federal architectural style. This 2+1⁄2-story brick dwelling features a two-story wing and a stone kitchen addition, with a one-story kitchen added in 1884. The property also includes a two-story carriage house from circa 1888. It was home to the Sharples family for over 180 years and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in American history.
