Dodd Homestead

Dodd Homestead was a historic home and farmstead located near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, dating back to around 1830. This modified L-shaped, wood-frame dwelling showcased a blend of Federal and Greek Revival architectural styles. The main house featured a two-story structure with a distinctive wing that was originally one-story and later expanded. The property included various 19th-century outbuildings such as a barn, stable, and milk house, reflecting the agricultural heritage of the area. Although it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the homestead is now listed as demolished or destroyed, making it a poignant reminder of Delaware's historical landscape.
