Windsor Castle (Smithfield, Virginia)

Windsor Castle is a historic plantation turned public park located in Smithfield, Virginia. Established in 1637, it features a manor house and 208 acres of parkland, including hiking trails, a dog park, and a canoe launch. The park was officially opened in 2010 after a community effort to preserve the site, which is protected by a historic easement. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of Cypress Creek and the Pagan River, as well as the nearby King of All Places manor house. The park also briefly hosted a vineyard, adding to its charm and appeal for tourists and researchers alike.
