Seaholm Power Plant (decommissioned and redeveloped)

Seaholm Power Plant was a municipal electrical generating station in downtown Austin that ceased power generation in 1996. The Art Deco-style turbine building on the site was retained and incorporated into the Seaholm Redevelopment, converting the former industrial site into mixed-use residential, office, and retail space. The site's original function as a power plant no longer exists, with redevelopment work completed in phases beginning in the 2010s.
