Tovrea Castle

Tovrea Castle, constructed around 1929–1931 as part of a real estate development, is a concrete and stone structure locally nicknamed the 'Wedding Cake Castle.' The castle and its surrounding cactus gardens are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are managed as a city historic site with guided tours by reservation. Its distinctive silhouette is a well-known landmark visible from parts of the East Valley.
