County Hall, Ballymena

County Hall is a notable municipal building located on Galgorm Road in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Originally serving as the headquarters for Antrim County Council from 1970 to 1973, it was designed in a modern architectural style by Burman Goodall & Partners. The building features a distinctive design with continuous bands of glazing and red brick, and includes the Chichester Hall, named after a prominent local figure. Despite suffering damage from a car bomb in 1972, County Hall has continued to serve various government functions, housing multiple departments over the years. As of 2014, it employed around 160 civil servants, although recent concerns have been raised about its long-term viability due to the departure of key offices.
