Washington National Cathedral - Space Window with lunar fragment

The Washington National Cathedral is a Gothic Revival Episcopal cathedral whose construction began in 1907 and was completed in 1990. Its Space Window, installed in 1974, contains a small lunar rock fragment from the Apollo 11 mission that was incorporated into the stained glass with NASA’s involvement.
