Arnold House, Llanddulas

Arnold House is a historic mansion in Llanddulas, north Wales, originally established as a boys preparatory school in 1867. Known for its connection to the renowned novelist Evelyn Waugh, who taught there briefly in 1925, the school prepared boys for entry into prestigious public schools and naval colleges. It became notable for its alumni, including several Admirals of the Royal Navy and prominent figures like Archbishop Geoffrey Fisher. After closing in 1943, the building transitioned to a Jewish convalescent home before being converted into residential properties.
