Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall (Paramount Theatre) - 1928 movie palace

Opened in 1928 as the Paramount Theatre, the building now known as the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is a landmark example of early-20th-century entertainment infrastructure in downtown Portland. The venue retains original architectural ornamentation from its movie palace origins and has housed film and live performance venues for nearly a century. It is listed on local historic registers and remains an active performing-arts facility.
