San Diego Central Library

The San Diego Central Library opened in 2013 as the main branch of the San Diego Public Library system. The nine-level building at 330 Park Boulevard features a distinctive perforated-metal 'lantern' facade and includes a publicly accessible rooftop garden and reading spaces. The facility consolidated downtown library services into a modern civic building with expanded meeting rooms, technology centers, and central collections.
