Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site-Poe's Philadelphia home

The Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site preserves one of the houses where Poe lived during his Philadelphia years and is located at 532-534 North 7th Street. Edgar Allan Poe resided in Philadelphia intermittently from 1838 to 1844, a period when he published a number of tales and poems and worked as an editor. The site interprets his life, writings, and the manuscripts associated with his time in the city.
