Christ Church, Ottershaw

Christ Church, Ottershaw is a historic Church of England church located in the village of Ottershaw, Surrey, about 20 miles from London. Designed by the renowned architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, this Grade II listed building features unique polychromatic brickwork and retains many original elements. The church was originally built as a memorial by Sir Edward Colebrooke in 1863 and has since been enhanced with a tower added in 1885 and parish rooms in the 1990s. Visitors can admire the stunning nave and chancel windows designed by Charles Eamer Kempe, which showcase his signature wheatsheaf motif. The churchyard is also the final resting place of two Commonwealth servicemen from World War II, adding to its historical significance.
