Engelberger House

The Engelberger House, located at 2105 North Maple Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is a notable example of Queen Anne architecture, featuring a two-story wood-frame structure with a hip roof, asymmetrical massing, and an octagonal tower. Built in 1895 by Alonzo 'Lonnie' Clayton, the youngest jockey to win the Kentucky Derby at age 15, this historic house is one of only two high-style Queen Anne homes in the city. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and African American heritage.
