Mission San Francisco de Asís (Mission Dolores)

Founded on June 29, 1776, Mission San Francisco de Asís-commonly called Mission Dolores-is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco. The mission complex includes an 18th-century adobe church and an adjoining basilica constructed in the 19th century. It remains a focal point of the Mission District's historic and cultural identity.
