Albert Einstein Memorial (Robert Berks)

The Albert Einstein Memorial is a bronze sculpture by Robert Berks showing Einstein seated on a bench, dedicated in 1979 on the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences. The 12-foot figure sits above a circular granite field inscribed with scientific equations and constants associated with Einstein’s work. The memorial is located adjacent to the National Mall and is publicly accessible from the NAS grounds.
