Casita del Príncipe (El Pardo)

The Casita del Príncipe, an 18th-century neoclassical house designed by architect Juan de Villanueva, is located near the Royal Palace of El Pardo, north of Madrid. Built for Charles, Prince of Asturias, this charming cottage served as a retreat from the formalities of royal life, similar to the Petit Trianon at Versailles. After restoration in the early 21st century, it is now open to the public by prior arrangement, showcasing beautiful artwork including a fresco by Francisco Bayeu y Subías.
