San Diego Civic Theatre

The San Diego Civic Theatre opened in 1965 as part of the downtown performing arts complex. For decades it has hosted Broadway tours, large-scale concerts, and opera and ballet productions, serving as the principal home of the San Diego Opera for many years. The venue has been central to presenting major touring musical and theatrical productions in the city.
