Blanch's Café

Blanch's Café was a renowned establishment in Stockholm, Sweden, opened in July 1868 by Governor Theodore Blanch. Located in a beautifully designed building from 1866 by architect Albert Törnqvist, the café featured an elegant interior with crystal chandeliers and plush furnishings. It became a cultural hub, offering live music daily and access to foreign newspapers, attracting both locals and visitors. The café was situated on Hamngatan but was eventually replaced by Sverigehuset in the 1960s.
