RAC Regional Control Centre

The RAC Regional Control Centre, located in Bradley Stoke, England, is a striking office building designed by Grimshaw Architects and completed in 1994. Serving as the South West regional headquarters for RAC Limited, it features a unique triangular layout and a full-height central atrium, promoting interdepartmental communication. The building stands approximately 60 meters tall, adorned with two blue steel masts that support a glazed meeting room known as the Central Viewing Room, offering panoramic views of the Bristol region. With its nautical design elements and energy-efficient features, the centre is not only a functional workspace for around 800 employees but also a notable landmark visible from the M5 motorway. Visitors can appreciate its architectural significance and the innovative design that reflects high-tech principles.
