Pavilion of Prince Teng

The Pavilion of Prince Teng, located in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, China, is a historic tower renowned as one of the Three Great Towers of southern China. Originally built in 653 AD by Li Yuanying, the pavilion has undergone 29 reconstructions throughout its history, with the current structure completed in 1989. Standing at 57.5 meters tall with nine stories, it showcases a Song dynasty architectural style and serves as a major tourist attraction, featuring a theater, restaurants, and shops. The pavilion is celebrated for its cultural significance, particularly through the famous poem 'Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng' by Wang Bo, which has immortalized its legacy in Chinese literature.
