Henry Hardin Cherry Hall

Henry Hardin Cherry Hall, completed in 1937, is a historic building on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Named after the university's founder, Dr. Henry Hardin Cherry, the hall was designed by architect Brinton B. Davis and features fifty classrooms, sixteen laboratories, and sixty offices. It has undergone modifications over the years, now housing various departments including English and history, as well as the WKU Forensics Team. The building is notable for its belltower, which plays chimes every fifteen minutes, symbolizing the university's identity. Cherry Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and remains a central part of campus life.
