C. H. King Company and First National Bank of Shoshoni

The C.H. King Company and First National Bank Building, also known as Yellowstone Drug, is a historic site in Shoshoni, Wyoming, built between 1905 and 1906. It was established by Charles Henry King, a notable businessman and the biological grandfather of U.S. President Gerald R. Ford. Over the years, the building has served various purposes, including a grocery store and a Masonic lodge. In the late 1970s, it became home to Yellowstone Drug, a popular drugstore until its closure in 2012. The building features a unique exterior with metal panels simulating stone and retains historical elements like a bank vault. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, making it a significant landmark for tourists and researchers interested in Wyoming's history.
