Hynds Lodge

Hynds Lodge is a historic conference and accommodation facility located in Curt Gowdy State Park, Wyoming. Originally built in 1922 by businessman Harry P. Hynds and donated to the Boy Scouts of America, the lodge offers a unique blend of rustic charm and natural beauty, accommodating up to 90 guests. Surrounded by towering granite formations and lush woodlands, it features a large kitchen, dining room, and a cozy living room with a stone fireplace. The lodge is available for reservation from May 1 to October 1 and has served various groups over the years, including churches and social organizations. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in Wyoming's history and outdoor recreation.
