Blue Bonnet Court

The Blue Bonnet Court, originally known as the Bluebonnet Tourist Camp, is a historic motor court-style motel located at 4407 Guadalupe Street in north-central Austin, Texas. Established in 1929, it was built to accommodate travelers along the newly paved Guadalupe Street, which connected Austin to Dallas. The site features Austin's first neon sign, still visible today, and has a charming stone wall with 11 basic rooms that are now rented as efficiency apartments. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers interested in Austin's architectural and cultural history.
