Caffè Vittoria - Boston's first espresso bar

Caffè Vittoria on Hanover Street in the North End opened in 1929 and is widely regarded as Boston's first espresso bar. The café introduced espresso and Italian coffeehouse culture to Boston's Italian-American community and has operated at 290–292 Hanover Street for decades. It remains noted in histories of coffee and immigrant food culture in the city.
