Torre da TV Bandeirantes

The Torre da TV Bandeirantes, also known as Torre da Band, is a striking 212-meter tall lattice tower located in the heart of São Paulo, Brazil, near Avenida Paulista. Completed in 1997, it stands as the tallest tower in São Paulo and one of the tallest in Latin America. Owned by Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação, the tower is named in honor of Maria Helena Mendes de Barros Saad, the wife of the network's founder. Although the tower is not open to the public, its impressive height and modern LED lighting system, which was inaugurated in 2011, make it a notable landmark in the city. The tower has played a significant role in broadcasting, housing the facilities of BandNews FM São Paulo since 2019, and remains a symbol of the city's media landscape.
