Belmont Mansion (Antebellum house and museum)

Belmont Mansion is an antebellum estate built in 1853 for Joseph and Adelicia Acklen and is preserved as a house museum on the Belmont University campus. The mansion displays period decorative arts and furnishings and interprets the site's 19th-century history. It regularly hosts public tours, concerts, and educational programs that connect the historic house to the city's cultural life.
