Veterans Memorial Coliseum ('The Madhouse on McDowell')

Veterans Memorial Coliseum opened in 1965 and is noted for its distinctive mid-century modern, bowl-shaped concrete roof and glass facade that give it an 'eye-like' appearance. It was the original home of the NBA's Phoenix Suns from 1968 to 1992 and has hosted sports, concerts, and community events for decades.
