Fontainebleau Las Vegas (unfinished high-rise)

Construction of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas tower on the north end of the Strip began in 2007 but was halted in 2009 after the developer filed for bankruptcy. The concrete-and-steel shell stood largely unfinished for more than a decade and was a visible reminder of the 2008–2009 construction stoppage on the Strip. The site remained an inactive, partially constructed high-rise until later ownership changes and new development plans were announced. The building is located on Las Vegas Boulevard adjacent to Resorts World Las Vegas.
