Ephraim Sturdivant House

The Ephraim Sturdivant House, also known as the Janet Low Parker House, is a historic home located in Cumberland Foreside, Maine, built in 1810 for Captain Ephraim Sturdivant, who named the town of Cumberland. This unique house is notable for its connection to Sturdivant's remarkable family, as he fathered twenty-one children. The property features Ephraim's Mount, which once hosted twelve navigational pine trees known as 'the Apostles' that guided ship captains to Portland harbor until their demise in 1935.
