Brisbane Administration Centre

Northbank Plaza, formerly known as the Brisbane Administration Centre, is a prominent office building located at 69 Ann Street in Brisbane's central business district, just south of the historic Brisbane City Hall. Opened in 1975, it was developed to alleviate overcrowding in the City Hall, which had been the administrative headquarters of the Brisbane City Council since the 1930s. The building features 26,000m2 of office space across twenty-two levels and includes a lobby and retail area on the ground floor. After a significant upgrade in 2007, it now houses various tenants, including major companies and government agencies. The redevelopment of the plaza in the early 1990s transformed it into a more accessible shopping area, enhancing the urban landscape of Brisbane.
