Blanton Museum of Art building

The Blanton Museum of Art at 200 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd is the University of Texas at Austin's main art museum and opened its current facility in 2006. The building was designed to house extensive holdings of modern and contemporary art, Latin American works, and European paintings, and includes a large glass lobby and travertine-facing exterior. It sits on the university's South Mall and is one of the principal cultural buildings on the UT campus.
