El Paso High School (The Castle on the Hill)

El Paso High School opened in 1916 and was designed by the regional firm Trost & Trost in a Spanish Renaissance style. The building is a local landmark known as the “Castle on the Hill” and has long been a prominent feature of the city's skyline. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to operate as a public high school.
